Meredith and Alex had a wedding weekend to remember … two ceremonies, skiing in their wedding attire and a high energy reception at Palisades Tahoe High Camp. It started on Saturday with Scott photographing their intimate, official ceremony at the Corpus Christi Church in Tahoe City. After the ceremony and a quick change of suit by Alex, we all met up at Palisades for some slushy afternoon turns.
Scott has been wanting to photograph a couple willing ( and able!) to ride one of the many snow snakes that pop up all over the mountain in spring, and that was the day his wish came true! They had a group of their family and friends join them for the skiing and a few apre drinks at the Chammy. Check out the skiing photos at the end of this post!
The next day Scott and I started along the west shore of Lake Tahoe with each of their groups getting ready in lake front condos. For this part of their wedding weekend, Scott was the videographer, and I was the photographer. Click on the above link to see Scott’s highlight reel.
After their first look on the pier and a few wedding party photos, it was time to head back to Palisades to take the tram up for the late afternoon ceremony at High Camp.
Issac Freed got the party started and the dancing never stopped! He was accompanied on some songs with a live saxophone player, and we thought that was a nice touch and brought some unique live music to the mix!
