I had a fun time with Jessica, Casey and their son Russell a few weeks ago up in Truckee for their fall family photography session. Jessica and Casey are not big fans of posed portraits, so we decided to make it more of a hiking around in some fun places kind of day, with just a few posed images thrown in here and there. It turns out Russell seams like he is a big fan of the posed images, readily offering up his enthusiastic “Cheeeeeeese” all along the way! We started the session with some granite rock scrambling up near the Donner Lake overlook, and we ended the session with some beautiful fall colors along the Cold Stream Creek.
