An amazing wedding at The Hideout near Kirkwood.
The HideOut near Kirkwood is one of the more amazing, rustic venues we have in the Tahoe area for an outdoor wedding. This wonderful couple endured multiple postponements due to COVID until they were finally able to realize their dream wedding nearly one-year after the original date. Lindsey at Blue Sky Events coordinated the event and the great staff at The Hideout made the day flow seamlessly. This couple, who are very private and asked that their names not be used, really made my job as a photographer easy by making time at sunset to climb up onto a nearby hill of granite rock for photos. The Hideout is an amazing wedding venue near Kirkwood. To get to it requires an 8 mile drive on a dirt road, but the rustic buildings, small lake, hot-tub set into a granite shelf (,which was not operating due to COVID for this wedding,) and plentiful room for camping combined with zero noise restrictions makes this venue a perfect choice for the adventurous couple who wants to party.
