Lindsay and Lloyd were married in December at the Resort at Squaw Creek, a great location for their intimate Tahoe winter wedding. The couple had been planning a ski vacation at Squaw Valley, and when Lloyd proposed earlier in November, they decided to include the wedding in their vacation plans, inviting their close family and friends to join them. Squaw Valley is covered in snow during the holidays, and Lindsay and Lloyd, never having been to Tahoe before, wanted to take some time before the ceremony (and before the sun set so early!!!) doing some portraits in the snow, with the snow covered mountains in the back ground.
The Resort at Squaw Creek had a holiday winter setting for Lindsay and Lloyd’s December wedding.

The lights of Mountain Run at the Squaw Valley ski resort shine in the background.
We had a lucky pink sunset for a few minutes during the portrait session.
The Resort at Squaw Creek is surrounded by snow and trees lit from top to bottom with white twinkle lights during the holidays, a perfect setting for Lindsay and Lloyd’s December wedding, the scene is topped off by the crecent moon.
After spending some time outside for the portrait session, Lindsay and Lloyd warm their hands by the outdoor firepit, spending a few moments alone, before heading inside to get married.
