Summer is flying by, but with this post we will officially break our summertime blogging dry spell of years past! Not only are we crazy busy with wedding work, but we are also ramping up our Burning Man prep, planning backpacking trips and still trying to enjoy an occasional beach day at Lake Tahoe. But somehow I managed to get this done too!
Miranda and Robb were married in mid June at Squaw Valley High Camp. They are such a fun, down to earth couple who just wanted to enjoy their day without a lot of traditional wedding stuff. Robb’s 11 year old twin daughters were the only wedding party they had, and they contributed to the ceremony with one of them playing a song on the mandolin, and the other doing a reading.
The yellow wild flowers were pretty much at their peak in mid June, which made for some beautiful backdrops for a few more portraits during the golden hour before the sun set begin Granite Chief.
