Shella and Jason were married at Lake Tahoe on April 3rd. A blizzard had passed through the day before, leaving fresh snow covered mountains as part of their back drop. Their ceremony was held at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic church in Incline Village, and their reception was located at the Resort at Squaw Creek. The day started at the resort with getting ready candids for both the guys and the girls. I started with the guys first, so they could head out to the church.

Jason was calm and having a great time hanging out with his guys at the Resort at Squaw Creek before the ceremony.

A toast before leaving for the church, including Jason’s dad in the hat and Shella’s dad next to him.

Shella had her blue accents down to the smallest details, including her bracelet and manicured nails.

The Resort at Squaw Creek looks over the expansive Squaw Valley, a snow storm the day before provided a nice back drop for these window shots.

Shella and Jason share a moment during their ceremony at the St. Francis of Assisi in Incline Village.

I love capturing the emotions during the ceremony, the girls are laughing and crying at the same time.

Their ceremony included several Filipino traditions, including the veil and cord ceremony, symbolizing unity and the lifelong bond or tie between the couple.
