Scott and I met Wendy and Daniel at a park along the Truckee River in Tahoe City a few weeks ago for their evening engagement session. We started the session in the woods along one of the bike paths, and then spent a bit of time in a secluded meadow. This was the first time we had met this couple since they had booked us for their wedding later this year, and we all had a great time getting to know each other. The lupine wildflowers along the west shore near the Gatekeeper’s Museum were in their prime bloom in mid June, so we took advantage of the large field leading all the way to the lake. This place can get a bit crowded with other photographers for sunset, but we were there mid week, and it was relatively quiet that evening. We are looking foward to Wendy and Daniel’s wedding at Northstar in September!
