12×12 flush mount album pages for a Lake Tahoe wedding

By Monique

I thought I’d post photographs of a complete 12×12 flush mount album for those of you who would like to see what the flush mount album design looks like. I design each wedding album from scratch, and I never, ever hire an outside company to design albums, or drop images into predictable design software templates. After a couple chooses their favorite images, I design the pages with simplicity and elegance, using the sizing and placement of the photographs as the design elements. I create albums showcasing a couple’s favorite images, designed to tell the story of their day from page to page so that within the overall wedding day story, each spread has it’s own story to tell from each part of the day, from the getting ready process through the reception. The versatility of the flush mount album allows for page designs to feature panoramic images, a single image that sweeps across 2 facing pages. Each page is an actual photograph, printed on professional photographic paper, which is then mounted onto thick page boards and bound into the album by a professional album making company here in the U.S.  The album featured in this post was designed for Shella and Jason, who were married at the beginning of April at St. Frances of Assisi Catholic Church in Incline Village. I did all of the family portraits at the church as requested, then I took the wedding party to Sand Harbor for more portraits. The reception was held at the Resort at Squaw Creek. I was so impressed with their selection of photographs for their album! They had a perfect mix of posed portraits (not too many!!!) with the many, many candids to really tell the story of their day.
