Saralyn and Gary shared a beautiful, late summer wedding at the Cedar House Sport Hotel in Truckee, California. This was the first time I had worked at this venue in a long time and the owner/wedding coordinator Patty did an amazing job at making sure every detail was perfect and the day went smooth. The couple chose to see each other and take all their pictures before the wedding, which left the afternoon free for them to do what the really wanted, share a great day with their friends and family. Brian Hess provided the live music through the cocktail hour and then took over the DJ role for dancing later. Saralyn made her own wedding dress on the sewing machine that had made her mother’s and grandmother’s wedding dresses, and (take note future brides,) she sewed pockets in her dress and they were awesome!
