Heidi and Eric got married at a lakefront private estate in Homewood, CA, on the shores of Lake Tahoe. This was a wonderful venue on the west shore and felt more like a great big gathering of close friends than a formal wedding. They had a fairly large wedding party and lots of formal pictures to get through, but what they really wanted were the creative portraits and fun candid shots so by working together we put together a schedule that would allow us to do both. That said, they still had to get up from dinner, twice, when the light got really good, but what’s a little cold pasta compared to a photograph you will hang on your wall for a lifetime right?

I got to know this couple early in the year when they had me do their engagement photo session at Emerald Bay, Lake Tahoe.
