Marjorie and Michael were married last spring at The Lodge at Tahoe Donner located in the forested hills above the quaint, historic town of Truckee. This sweet couple and their wedding party were troopers when I had them traipsing through waist high mountain lupine for their portrait session. Their reception had some fun events, like mad libs and the shoe game that they played with the bride’s grandparents.
I just love those in between moments during the portrait session when the unexpected happens, like the bride’s niece trying to eat her mom’s necklace!
Each table had to do a group mad libs, and then read it out loud before they went through the buffet line!
This was a twist on the shoe game – the couple played it with the bride’s grandparent’s who won the anniversary dance.
