Anjuna and Tim found a great, out of the way location for their June 27th wedding near Alpine Meadows in Tahoe. The Stanford Alpine Chalet, owned by the Stanford University Alumni Association, has rooms for people to stay, along with ceremony and reception facilities, and a great-in house chef that catered the wedding. This was the first weekend in June that did not have overcast skies, in fact, it was quite warm. And as with all of my other June weddings, the wild flowers were in bloom. The bride and groom made their way through a great big meadow of Mules Ear wildflowers for some fun photographs with sweeping views of the mountain tops at Alpine Meadows ski resort.

The reception area at the Stanford Alpine Chalet surrounds a pool where guests mingle and have dinner, then they move upstairs for indoor dancing.

This part of the field had the wildflowers all around them, with a nice slope of flowers behind them too.

I love this moment! Kids just love the bride, I caught this little one with excitement as Anjuna passed by.
