Sandi and Chip like to ski. They planned a small winter wedding near the end of the season and had me along to capture the fun for just a few hours. The idea was to shoot a little getting ready, then hit the lifts at Diamond Peak ski resort in Lake Tahoe, which has spectacular lake views, and do a fun pre-ceremony photo shoot on the slopes in tux and gown for a few hours before skiing right into their ceremony on the main deck of the Diamond Peak lodge and get married in ski boots. Well, of course this turned out to be the one real snow storm we had here at Lake Tahoe pretty much all year. Despite blowing snow, 60 MPH winds and near zero visibility, they still wanted to do one quick run and get a few pictures before they froze solid, which is exactly what we did. I think it was worth it and we actually had a pretty good time despite the frozen fingers. The reception was at the Chateau in Incline Village.
