Jessica and Scott’s wedding at the Heavenly Mountain Lakeview Lodge in South Lake Tahoe had the perfect timing of a clear view of the blue lake, with just a bit of smoke in the background that made for a very colorful sunset. ( I had just done a wedding there 2 days before and the smoke was so thick, you could not see the lake at all!) Each of them and their wedding parties got ready at the Hard Rock Cafe before we all headed up the mountain for their ceremony and reception. They went all out on their reception decor, with lots of signs, draped fabric and plenty of greenery and flowers, and a favorite of ours, some giant lit up LOVE letters next to the dance floor.
Jessica was a beautiful bride and we finally got the smoky skies to work for us at sunset at the Lakeview lodge in Heavenly, South Lake Tahoe.
