Spring has sprung and even though it seems like the longest stretch of winter Tahoe has seen this year is happening just now in mid-May, wedding season is just around the corner! I have been more than lax in my wedding blog posts over the winter. Thankfully, Monique has filled in the gaps with some of the wonderful Lake Tahoe weddings we photographed together, but I thought I should get a couple of my solo weddings up before things get crazy again. ( I was also busy keeping up on our other non wedding related blog where we post images from our travels, and a lot of Tahoe and Sierra landscape images. If you’d like to check it out, click on over to Tahoelight.com ) This wedding for Courtney and Phil was a wonderful wedding at the PlumpJack Squaw Valley Inn, a venue we shoot at quite often. Courtney and Phil had their first look before the ceremony, and then decided to take the wedding party off-site for a few fun photos along the fence-line in the Squaw Valley meadow. One of the neat things about this wedding is that I shot the best man’s wedding a few years back and it was a total surprise when I showed up to photograph the guys getting ready to see him in the room. I guess it is a small world sometimes. We wish you all the best Courtney and Phil!
