Kelly and Jordan’s winter wedding at the West Shore Cafe was, simply put, So Much Fun! The weather during the day was great. It was sunny one minute, with wind and snow flurries the next. This went on for most of the day, and made for some great weather images during the pre ceremony portraits and the ceremony at the end of the pier. And by the time the wedding reception moved indoors, the snow storm got more intense and it started sticking to the ground. Since we really did not have much of a winter this season, everyone was so happy about the snow. The evening came to a close with an all out snow ball fight on the deck. We even got pelted several times ( on purpose too!) as we were documenting the snow flying through the air. This wedding is a perfect example of the importance of a wedding photographer’s ability to think and react quickly to different weather situations that can occur here at Lake Tahoe. We are prepared for it all, and actually really love it when the weather gets crazy!
