I met up with long time family friend Trevor and his fiancé Larissa last Sunday for their Donner Summit engagement session. The couple loves snow sports and was hoping for a snowy winter session, but this year’s snow levels did not cooperate. I did find one mountain peak with some patches still left to use as a backdrop for a few wintery images, but other than that, we just had fun from the train tracks in Truckee to Donner Lake and all the way up to the abandoned train trestles along the hillside above the Donner Summit Rainbow Bridge.
