By Monique and Scott
We met up with Charlene and Dan last month on a foggy evening along the Slow Coast, an area of rugged coast line north of Santa Cruz, and South of Half Moon Bay …. a place where the pace of life is calm and there are not as many crowds as the more populated areas within a half hour in either direction. As with most of our couples this season, Charlene and Dan have postponed their Tahoe wedding until next year. But they still wanted to do the engagement session, so we happily came up with a plan for a beautiful outdoor location where we could all be physically distanced and still get some amazing images of the two of them together. Scott and I were happy to see that there were still some wild flowers blooming along the bluffs, so we started there, and by the time we got to the beach by the end of the session the only other people still hanging around were the fishermen. When we do engagement sessions or adventure sessions, we always ask our couples if they are up for getting in the water at the end of the session, and Charlene and Dan had fun jumping around in the surf for a few final images. We are really, really looking forward to next year when we will finally be able to document their wedding!
