Andrea and Ryan’s Santa Cruz Mountain wedding was held at the Stones & Flowers Retreat Center. The wedding venue is spread out in the redwood forest above the little town of Ben Lomond with a huge, historic barn that was built in the 1890’s as the central location for the reception. With cozy A-frame cabins for the guests to stay in, the wedding weekend brought together people from around the world. We had never met Andrea and Ryan before the wedding since they were living in England for the past year where Ryan was stationed as a naval captain. And, Andrea, a particle physicist, was traveling around the world and writing a math book. The wedding day had a few traditional things such as a receiving line for guests, but it was mostly a casual day filled with family and friends visiting on the outdoor patio and lawn and dancing in the barn. After their wedding, Andrea and Ryan spent almost a month hiking the John Muir Trail for their honeymoon, so we met up with them before they left for their Yosemite trash the dress session.
Here are just a few of the images from the Yosemite trash the dress session. Follow the link at the top of the page to see the complete blog post.
