Laurie and Sean celebrated their wedding in mid-summer at the Twenty Mile House in Graeagle, California. This is a great, private venue that many couples choose because it is isolated enough that there are none of the noise or time restrictions that apply at many other wedding venues around Lake Tahoe and the Sierra. There are several cabins on site for people to stay in, and the main house has a few rooms for overnight use as well. The guys got ready at the upper cabin, which is one of the newer ones and it has a big tree running across the creek out back where Laurie really wanted to do some of her pictures. The girls got ready in the historic main house upstairs. They have added to their outdoor lighting at the Twenty Mile House this year, and with so many trees wrapped in lights, the reception area is really quite beautiful around twilight and later. Laurie and Sean chose to do a first look before the ceremony where he surprised her with his grandmother’s wedding ring for her to wear. Laurie and Sean opted for 6 hours of coverage for their intimate wedding and had a lot of fun hanging out with family and friends and lots of kids.
