Sarah and Daniel were married at the historic Thunderbird Lodge Lake Tahoe estate in mid June with family and friends travelling from as far away as Sweden, where Daniel grew up. A toast with all sorts of little bottles of Swedish liquors and singing some Swedish songs added a unique celebration during the ceremony and reception. Scott and I really loved that they not only had an unplugged wedding ceremony, but they also requested an unplugged first dance and cake cutting too! It was so nice to see the images that we captured of the faces of their family and guests watching them, experiencing the events of the day without dozens of cell phones hiding their expressions. Our studio corner photo booth was a big hit, and, in fact, I think it was a bit more popular than the dancing inside the lodge! Kerry Hawk, owner of Blue Sky Events, did a great job with the logistics as always.
