Brianna and Paul’s fall wedding at Sand Harbor State Park at Lake Tahoe was the perfect small, intimate gathering to end our 2025 wedding season last October. With a wedding party of three people plus their adorable dog Roscoe and a small group of friends and family, The Sand Harbor Ramada was the perfect area for their ceremony followed by an intimate reception at Toulouse restaurant in South Lake Tahoe.
Scott and I started the day in South Lake Tahoe with some fun getting ready photos at the Station House Inn, and then we went to an off the beaten path, forested area where they had their first look and exchanged their vows privately with each other before the official ceremony.
At Sand Harbor, guests enjoyed an amazing charcuterie spread, self serve his and hers cocktails, and some outdoor games after the ceremony. The couple’s gifts to their guests were an eclectic mix of mugs that they had thrifted, so everyone made their cocktails in their keep sake mugs. They mingled with guests for a while, and then when the golden hour light started to appear, we grabbed the couple for some portraits on the beach and boulders. I am including a few fun images of them making their way through the shrubbery and hopping from boulder to boulder to get to some of our favorite spots at Sand Harbor for photos – they were up for all the rock scrambling to get to some really beautiful spots!
Brianna and Paul enjoyed the sunset at Sand Harbor with a small group of friends who had not yet left, and then we all regrouped at the restaurant in South Lake Tahoe. After their first dance and a few toasts, everyone spent the rest of the evening visiting together at the tables. The evening ended with the cutting of their cake, and a group photo with everyone at the tables.
