Amy and Sergio got married at PlumpJack Squaw Valley in mid September, the perfect time of year for the tall golden grasses in the valley. They had their first look in the field, and we spent some time in the valley with them and their wedding party before their ceremony back at PlumpJack with Squaw’s tram face as the back drop.

I threw this shot in here to illustrate how, in our opinions, the guests should put their phones down and be present … let us capture the moments. A lot of professionals complain about their images getting ruined by the guests. It is frustrating, yes, but a true professional will be able to work around the guests to get the shot most of the time … see the next image…

Realizing that there were a ton of guests sticking their phones in the middle of the aisle, I moved myself in order to capture the bride and her dad.

I threw this one in here to show you a “behind the scenes” how it is done … yes, we often lay on the ground to get unique angles.
