Desiree and Amir came up from their home in San Jose to get married at Edgewood on Oct. 9. These guys were wonderful to work with and had a nice clear and warm October afternoon for their North Room ceremony and reception.
Desiree got ready at the nearby Harrah’s before heading across the street to her Edgewood ceremony.
Desiree had a small group of girls stand with her.
Amir had a slightly larger group of guys stand with him, including his son.

As we were shooting some of the formal portraits, a large flock of geese flew overhead and everyone had to stop and watch.
Desiree and Amir were game to head back out for a few more pictures right as the sun set.
After the sunset pictures, it was back inside for the dancing.
The kids show the adults how it’s done.
The guests came up with some interesting “money ware” for the money dance.
At the end of the night, we stepped out once more to make some pictures with the sparklers they brought with them for their grand exit.
