Lauren and Cody had their wedding at The Lodge at Tahoe Donner in Truckee. I met up with Lauren and her girls at a cute cabin near the venue for a few getting ready candids before heading over to Cody at a different cabin close by to capture some of his last minute getting ready as well. We then went down the hill to a field near the Donner Memorial State Park for their first look before the ceremony. After the ceremony, their cocktail hour was in the grotto, and then they moved inside the reception pavillion tent for dinner and dancing.
Just before the guests were being seated inside the tent for dinner, I saw these two girls playing up on the green with the perfect evening backlighting so I got a few images of them there, and then I asked the bride and groom to head up on the hill for a few more portraits before they went in for dinner.
