I met up with Julie and Brad at Emerald Bay for their Lake Tahoe trash the dress session in the early evening, my favorite time of day for sessions at the overlook and the falls because I get just enough light for the overview of the bay, and then the falls area is completely in the shade, allowing for a nice, evenly lit setting. This couple was up for all the rock scrambling that is takes to get down to one of my favorite dead tree stumps. After Emerald Bay, we went over to Kiva Beach to capture the last golden beams of light spilling over Mt. Tallac.
