Megan and Stanley got married at Megan’s mother’s house near Tahoe City at Lake Tahoe. It was a small, relaxed morning ceremony with about 50 close friends and family. Megan and her girls did all the decorations and flowers themselves and did an amazing job of it. The bride was beautiful and got married barefoot just like she always wanted to. The reception was held in the afternoon at the River Ranch along the Truckee River near Alpine Meadows.

The wedding ceremony was held in the morning at Megan’s parent’s home in Lake Tahoe. Her brother-in-law brewed the beer and her sister did the artwork for the labels.

Megan always wanted to get married bare-foot. So she was really excited to find these cute tie-ons.

Normally, this is the river-bed for the Truckee river as it passes River Ranch. Now, due to the drought, it is a small reflective pond.

The dogs are an important part of Megan and Stanley’s lives and of course, the wedding.

Of course one of the dogs was a bit of a howler.

We decided to go to Lake Tahoe near Megan’s family home after the ceremony with the wedding party.

Megan is a rock climber and wanted to go up to Donner Summit and take some pictures on the granite there.

Stanley and Megan had a small group for their wedding, so we used the reflective pond where the Truckee River should have been to make a group portrait of all the guests.
