Fairview Gardens wedding in Reno for Shauna and Jason

By Monique

Shauna and Jason were married at the Fairview Gardens in the rolling hills of South Reno. This out of the way location offered so many beautiful, ranch style backdrops for the entire wedding day. The ceremony site sits behind the main house with big shade trees and cocktails were served next to a classic red barn. The reception area was in an open grassy field with more shade trees surrounding the area, and it had a dance floor in the middle with twinkle lights. There are several pastures surrounding the property, with wooden fences painted white, and a great view of downtown Reno in the distance. Tessa Dee Miller, owner of The Nest, a vintage urban boutique in Reno, and dear friend of the brides, decorated the entire venue with vintage pieces from her shop. The sign in table had old typewriters where guests could type messages for the bride and groom. Individual seating areas were set up in a different field and included centerpieces created with vintage lace tablecloths, old books, and peacock feather and flower filled wine bottles. Shauna’s father recently went back to school and got a winemaking degree, so the wine bottles and several oak wine barrels were also part of their wedding theme.

The Cupid Shuffle was one of the most popular songs played this season.
