Monique and I had the honor of doing the photography and videography for this amazing fall wedding at the Chateau at Incline Village. Monique handled all the still photography and Scott took care of the video in their unobtrusive, small footprint, journalistic style. Getting ready took place at the Hyatt resort in Incline Village on the shore of Lake Tahoe. We set the first look up before heading to the ceremony. Often times the pier at the Hyatt can be a bit crowded during the day, but with a little polite groveling we managed to secure a bit of it all to ourselves for the first look and a few portraits. From there we moved over to the Chateau golf and country club. This is a popular wedding venue that we work at often. The ceremony was outside on a beautiful fall day. I got there early and popped my smallest drone up for a little overall scene setting video (the Hyatt does not permit drone use on their property,) and shortly after that we started the ceremony. Some of the leaves had started to turn along the golf course and after the golfers had cleared out when the sunset light was at its best, we went back out for a few minutes to capture some great moments with the couple and their dog. Our all inclusive photo + video package is something we have only been offering the last two years. We like to stay light on our feet and out of your way while allowing you to enjoy your big day and still capture amazing moments. Our decades of experience as photojournalists allow us to do that without having to hire multiple shooters and videographers to clutter things up.
